Comments on Cap & Trade |
|
The Waxman Markey Bill is currently being debated in Congress and it
will impose Cap & Trade regulations on America.
Many people have heard of global warming and about energy legislation,
but the term Cap & Trade is not as well known.
Cap & Trade is the mechanism proposed by the Administration, to force
the United States to cut its emissions of CO2 80% by 2050.
A second video on Carbon Capture and Sequestration will be published
over the next few days.
It will describe how CO2 must be captured from new coal fired power
plants or from existing coal fired power plants in order to maintain the
availability of electricity.
It describes sequestration, and why Carbon Capture is useless without
sequestration.

Comments on Carbon Capture and Sequestration |
|
This new video explains how CO2 may be captured from coal fired power
plants and how it might be sequestered in geologic formations.
It
explains why the economy will be badly hurt if CO2 can’t be captured and
sequestered.
The Waxman Markey Bill is currently being debated in Congress and it
will impose Cap & Trade regulations on America.
It requires America cut its CO2 emissions 80% by 2050. It establishes
Cap & Trade regulations to force these cuts.
The video also raises the question of whether these draconian
regulations threaten freedom.
